Associate Dean for Student Affairs; Clerkship Director; Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics


Frank Genuardi, M.D., M.P.H., is an associate professor of pediatrics and associate dean for student affairs with the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. Genuardi is also clerkship director for the department of pediatrics and director of web services for the UF Health Science Center Jacksonville. As part of the college’s Office of Educational Affairs, he oversees the third- and fourth-year medical student clerkship programs on the Jacksonville campus. In addition, he serves as the faculty liaison overseeing the Jacksonville campus website, hscj.ufl.edu.

Genuardi joined UF in 1994 as an assistant professor and was promoted to associate professor and assistant dean of undergraduate medical education in 2001. He was promoted to associate dean for student affairs in 2007.

Genuardi received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, and completed his pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. He completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham while concurrently earning a master of public health degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He is board-certified in pediatrics.
