Anna M. McDaniel, Ph.D., R.N., FAAN, is dean and Linda Harman Aiken Professor at the University of Florida College of Nursing. She is also associate vice president for academic-practice partnerships at UF Health Shands Hospital.

McDaniel also serves as chair-elect of the Florida Association of Colleges of Nursing; as a reviewer for various professional journals and scientific meetings; and as an ad hoc member of review panels for the National Institutes of Health.

Her areas of expertise are nursing leadership and administration, health Informatics, tobacco prevention and cessation, cancer prevention and control, and translational research.
