Dean Edwards hosts Medical Student Luncheon
Medical students enjoy lunch and discussion with Dr. Edwards.
Once a month, Linda Edwards, MD, Dean of the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville, and Frank Genuardi, MD, MPH, associate professor and associate dean for student affairs, share lunch with rotating medical students on campus. Since 1978, the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville has hosted medical students for clinical rotations.
These students, who are part of the College of Medicine in Gainesville, have the opportunity to complete their third- or fourth-year training in Jacksonville. The monthly lunch provides a valuable opportunity for faculty to discuss student progress, listen to their concerns, and support their development throughout their time on campus.
